A big thank you to Maria Lynam for stepping up and sitting for A Small Art Gallery on Acker Night. Nancy and I need to go to California on family business this weekend and Maria is graciously keeping the gallery open during the Sharlot Hall Youth Band performances.
Please stop by and see Maria’s paintings as well as Sid Freeman’s calligraphy and Annie Alexander’s specialty handmade paper and art.
Oh, and enjoy the music. We’ll miss our usual walk through some wonderful music and community. But we will be thinking of you all.
Art can, and should be found everywhere. Mother Nature has been practicing for eons and so it’s no wonder she comes up with some beautiful examples. Our courtyard, so inviting and warm in the late Summer is now a bit chilly and an exhibition hall for some kinetic ice sculpture.
We’re decorating the courtyard this afternoon in preparation for Friday’s Acker Night celebration. The Sharlot Hall Youth String Band is being presented by the Courtyard Building through the hard work of Jinger Cutting and Cutting Edge Realty. Thanks, Jinger.
Come enjoy some music at the Courtyard Building, Friday Night.
